Behind the scenes: simpleshow project management
Every simpleshow is individually produced with a great deal of careful planning and craftsmanship. With almost 200 projects running simultaneously, it comes as no surprise that it is not all that easy to keep everything running smoothly. In particular the communication between the customer and all those involved in the project (authors, artists, hand models, cutters, sound designers, …) subject to tight deadlines demands a lot of our project managers.
However, support is on hand from our browser-based project management tool, Pipedrive. It was originally developed as sales software, but a number of tests determined that it was actually perfect for our requirements. We have a standardized workflow with a really high number of parallel projects. We are now also using Pipeline as our CRM, in order to guarantee a smooth transition from the sales phase to the project phase with as few gaps as possible.
The fact that we are employing its tool in a completely new context obviously also delighted Pipedrive’s manufacturer. It recently dedicated a blog article to us and we would like to take this opportunity to express our thanks for that:
