simpleshow goes Lovie Award
This year it was the third time the Lovie Awards celebrated the most resonant and pertinent web stories in Europe.
The mission is to recognise the European internet community with its unique and resonant character – from Europe’s top web and creative networks and content publishers to cultural and political organisations as well as bloggers.
And this year, the simpleshow is on board! We are really proud to say: We did it! We won the Silver Lovie Award in the category ‘Health’ with our Learning Nugget “Become a First Aid Hero”. Yeah!
The Lovie Awards was judged by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences (IADS), a body of leading web experts, business figures, luminaries, creative celebrities and other internet professionals.
This academy is an intellectually diverse organization that includes 1,000+ members. Those are leading industry experts, web-experts and visionaries working to advance the electronic medium.
We are really proud that this jury chose us from the 1500 inquiries of over 30 countries.
The awards reflect the tremendous growth of the internet as a tool for business and everyday lives. This year the award expanded the mission: by increasing the number of categories in Websites, Online Advertising, Internet Video, Mobile & App and Social Media.
Our team in London will accept this honour with great pleasure on the 13th of November. They are already preparing their laudation.
By the way, the Lovie Awards are named in honour of Ada Lovelace, who lived in the early 19th century. The mathematician is considered as being the first programmer. She stands for a lasting symbol of European innovation and creative ingenuity.
And the heart? It is a universal symbol for love and represents the passion evoked by awesomeness on the internet. No other medium has created such enthusiastic like the web!
